What This Program Is

Alpha Era Spring Teams are competitive, girls-only tournament teams built for players who want more than just extra games — they want development, exposure, and a team identity they’re proud to wear.

Girls will represent Alpha Era at top spring tournaments and compete against the best, in an environment that is:

 Professionally coached (paid coaching staff)

 Structured and intentional — not just thrown together

 Focused on development + fun + exposure

This isn’t just a spring team. This is a chance to wear something you’re proud of, compete with like-minded girls, get coached properly, and play in real tournaments — with real structure, real jerseys, and real opportunity.

We Need Coaches!

Everything is done for you — you bring the roster, and we help fill in the gaps, schedules, jerseys, practice plans. You get paid to coach motivated girls in a professional setting. All you need to do is coach and lead.

Come to tryouts, which have been moved to DEC 23, 2025 at the Wave Twin Rinks. You are guaranteed placement on a team! You can check out our tryouts here

Everything is planned for you, including your coach, your uniform, practices, bookings, etc. All you need to do is commit to a team, and you’re go to go!

Yes, and make a friend request in your try out registration, OR let us know on try out day that you wish to be placed as a group.

5 on 5 regular hockey format, 15 players and 2 goalies to a team.

Alpha Era Spring 3v3: Lioness Spring 2026. Come play in our house league division that will run 7 weeks in the Spring, 4 teams per division, championship game day and friendly skills competition to win fun prizes. U9, U11, U13, U15 House league.

Girls-only, with age groups typically ranging from U9 to U18 depending on the event (ex. Lioness Cup: U9–U15, Euro Trip: all ages, Spring Teams: 2011–2018 birth years). 

Absolutely not!. Some programs are open to all skill levels (B/BB), while others require rep or elite-level (AA/AAA) experience. Each program clearly states its requirements, however, participating in tryouts gives players the opportunity to make it to elite teams for exposure.  

Depending on the program, this may include:

  1. Custom Alpha Era jersey & socks

  2. Practices before tournaments

  3. Tournament entry fees

  4. Full player itineraries and team coordination

  5. Swag bags, medals, or championship apparel

    (Euro trip players also receive travel gear, team apparel, international games, accommodation & transport.)

Yes. Alpha Era coaching roles are paid positions for tournament teams and the European tour. Travel or stipend coverage is also included for certain events. 

Yes — but spots are limited.  

  1. For Spring Teams: Tryouts are held (example: December 23 at the Wave Twin Rinks-Burlington).

  2. For Euro Trip: All Skill levels are welcome

  3. For the Lioness Cup 3v3: Players may register individually or as a group and are placed on balanced teams.

  2. AA Teams: Brantford Regional Showdown, Ponytail Challenge Showcase (scouted)

    Players ages 14–21 who want to be seen, challenged, evaluated — and remembered.

This is not a camp. It’s a true scouting and selection environment where athletes compete in front of PWHL scouts, OHL scouts (women’s side), university coaches (U SPORTS & NCAA), prep school scouts, and high-performance coaches. 

  1. Alpha Era provides recommended/blocked hotels for families

  2. For international Trips: Accommodations, transfers, itineraries, events, hockey, and logistics are pre-planned through European Sports Travel

  3. Flights are booked separately and an individual expense outside of the package cost

  4. Parents can choose to travel with the team or send players with staff (depending on age) 

Yes! Families are welcome to join the trip as supporters. Travel packages are available for parents and siblings through the tour company.

Alpha Era’s Girls-Only Christmas Break Rep Clinics are designed for competitive female athletes who want to keep their edge sharp through the holiday season — while training alongside other motivated girls who share their passion for the game.
 
Each session is designed for rep-level players (ages 8–13) who want to push their limits, refine their skills, and experience the intensity of elite-level training — led by women who have played and coached at the game’s highest levels.

Step into a high-energy, female-led environment where girls train with purpose, confidence, and intensity. Alpha Era’s Girls-Only March Break Rep Clinics are designed for competitive female athletes ready to raise their standard and sharpen elite-level skills during the spring break window.
 
Each clinic is tailored for rep-level players (ages 8–13) who want to push their limits and train like pros — in a space that celebrates strength, teamwork, and female empowerment.

Players will learn from women who’ve played and coached at the game’s highest levels, building both technical skill and inner confidence in every session.

Finish the year strong and kick off the new one with confidence, connection, and fun! Led by an all-female coaching team, Alpha Era’s Girls-Only Christmas Break Camp blends skill development, leadership, and team-building in a positive, empowering environment designed for her.
 
Each day combines structured on-ice sessions with interactive off-ice workshops and team activities that help girls grow as players and leaders. From building confidence in their game to connecting with teammates through creative and leadership-based challenges, this camp focuses on developing resilience, empowerment, and self-belief.
 
hot lunch is included daily, giving players time to recharge, laugh, and celebrate the season with their teammates.

This March Break, give her a camp experience that fuels confidence, connection, and creativity — both on and off the ice.

Led by an all-female coaching team, Alpha Era’s Girls-Only Spring Break Camp is a space where girls can challenge themselves, build friendships, and grow as leaders in an uplifting, empowering environment.
 
Each day blends structured on-ice sessions focused on teamwork and skill development with interactive leadership and confidence-building activities designed to help girls discover their voice and strengths. Between sessions, athletes will take part in team-building challengescreative projects, and outdoor play that promote self-awareness, collaboration, and fun.
 
hot lunch is included daily, giving players the chance to recharge, connect, and share laughs with teammates in a supportive, girls-only atmosphere.

A day designed for her — where skill-building meets empowerment. Led by an all-female coaching team, Alpha Era’s Girls-Only P.A. Day Camp blends on-ice development, dryland training, and leadership activities in an atmosphere built around confidence, connection, and community.
 
Girls will skate hard, train smart, and learn to lead — surrounded by positive female role models who inspire growth both on and off the ice. With a focus on fun, friendship, and female mentorship, this is more than just a camp — it’s an experience designed to help every girl discover her strength, her voice, and her next level.

About the Speed + Power Clinic

This high-intensity, female-focused clinic is designed specifically for rep-level players who want to sharpen their explosiveness, edge control, and acceleration on the ice. Each session focuses on stride mechanics, first-step quickness, crossover power, and efficient puck movement at top speed.

Athletes will be challenged through technical skating drills, reaction-based competition, and small-area explosive work — building confidence and power that directly translate to in-game performance.
