Most players can make a play with time and space. The next step is making it under pressure, at speed, with someone closing in. This program takes skills a player already has and teaches her to execute them when the game gets tight.
Over the season, athletes work on puck carrying at speed, passing and receiving in motion, shooting in stride, and using deception to create space. Small-area games put those skills straight into live situations, so players practice the decision-making that goes with them, not just the technique.
