Skating is the foundation everything else in hockey sits on. A player who moves well has more time with the puck, gets to more pucks, and plays with more confidence. This program builds that foundation from the ground up in a girls-first environment where athletes are comfortable making mistakes and trying again.
Over the season, athletes work on balance and posture, edge control, one-foot strength and crossovers, and the mechanics of an efficient, powerful stride. Coaches keep sessions active and encouraging, so players leave the ice having worked hard and had fun.
