MEET THE OWNER
My name is Samantha Burton, and I’m the founder of Alpha-Era Girls Hockey Company — a program built by women, for girls. I created it to give young female athletes the training, support, and environment I wish I had growing up.
My hockey journey began in small-town British Columbia, where I laced up my first pair of skates and fell in love with the game. As a player, I learned discipline, resilience, and how to show up for my team. But I also saw the gap — girls didn’t get the same opportunities, and that stuck with me.
I later moved to Alberta, stepped into coaching, and discovered the joy of helping girls unlock new skills and confidence. That’s where the idea for Alpha-Era Girls began. Now based in Ontario, I coach, run camps, and work directly with athletes who are passionate and ready to grow.
Alpha-Era Girls Hockey Company is more than training — it’s a mindset. We focus on performance, confidence, and mental toughness. Every stride, every rep, every session builds not just better players, but stronger, more self-assured young women.
Empowerment builds belief. Resilience builds strength. Action builds change.
Welcome to Alpha-Era Girls Hockey Company.
